We are being methodically dumbed down by the media because the monied own it

I live around Tacoma Washington. We have a newspaper call The News Tribune. They have an editorial today by Richard Davis a half a page long. Davis gets a majority of the space devoted to Opinion. Rarely do any progressive editorials get that much coverage. For those who don't have the time or inclination to analyze what they see or experience they get only a one-sided view. I'd like to see the Tacoma News Tribune print as many and equal opinion pieces from both the conservative and progressive view so the reader can evaluate both sides. I believe with the monied ownership of media we, the common man, are getting set-up. No wonder Texas wanted to take critical thinking out of their state classes. Critical thinking should be a required course in public schools. Critical thinking makes it harder for the powerful and wealthy to control the common man.
