This is what my son is reading during Shark Week.

He had to read a fiction and non-fiction book over the summer; school started yesterday and the reports are due tomorrow. Never heard about this non-fiction book called Left for Dead about an 11 year old boy that cleared the captain's name of the USS Indianapolis.

I told my son about Quint's speech about it in Jaws and he said that's what peaked the boy's interest.

Even as an old, beat up Quint, those eyes are what gets me.

Yes, as a little girl I had a think for old guys with gray hair and blue eyes. No clue.

For her non-fiction books this summer, she read:

How They Croaked - the Awful Ends of the Awfully Famous

And, she also read, Chasing Lincoln's Killer
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0439903548/ref=oh_details_o05_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

She loved the first book, was so-so on the second.
