Never been asked to do that before.

(12,022 posts)1. Hardest writing you'll ever do is the dedication
"Thanks for being a reader!"
"Enjoy!"
"This one's for you!"
"Fictionally yours!"
Guess I'll go with the K.I.S.S. method!

(8,492 posts)2. Is it a friend or close acquaintence?
If so, a very short personal message is fine (one sentence). If not, a simple 'Best wishes, Orrex" or something similar.
Short is key.

Not a close friend per se, but we know each other reasonably well.

"Dear Reader,
I wrote this story while naked. Hope you enjoyed it!
Love,

(10,237 posts)10. I would just write your name
because you are sort of blocked about what to write.
I don't sign my paintings for that reason.
