Press release describes re-release of a product.
Someone famous used the product first time around, and in a magazine article said "I just used the XYZ..."
What do I need to do to appropriately cite the quote? Something like "In a 'Joe' magazine from February 1968, Mr. Famous said 'I just used the XYZ...'"
Do I then need to put a citation at the bottom of the press release, and if so, what information and in what format? Or is that attribution in the actual text enough?
Thanks!

(24,146 posts)1. the attribution looks fine to me
that's how i'd do it if i were still working in newspaper.

release? I can just attribute in the main text itself?
Thanks, fizzgig.

Just make sure it's a real source.

just look at some copies and see what the convention is.
