I lost interest in the psychologist when I entered high school, though. I still have regrets about not becoming an attorney.

but it didn't happen. But, happily, I worked in the field of law my entire working career -- first as a legal secretary and then as a paralegal specializing in corporate and business law. I was an instructor in the Paralegal Studies Program at the University of Washington for a number of years. I guess I got to do all the good bits without having to worry about client development or making partner.

That is what they called them back then. But I was too short. Actually, I was lucky in that; the job is not nearly as glamorous as it was then. I would probably have entered the career just about the time deregulation began destroying the airlines.

Now that I'm tired of that, I'm becoming an artist. Who knows what's next?
