The dog was like the last straw for the poor kitty. I have long conversations with my cat, her name is Miss Kitty (remember from Gunsmoke). She has a whole vocabulary of sounds, most of which I can replicate, so we go back and forth. I'm surprised that she responds verbally. Maybe I've learned catonese.

My cat, Kamere, has a definite vocabulary and we have 3 way conversations with him as he sits upon the refrigerator lecturing us.
