eat two servings a night. I didn't lose weight immediately so I wondered what was up. But I weighed myself this morning and for sure I've lost a bit of weight this week, even though I did eat out. Best of all, I really enjoy it. It is something I can stick with in the long term.

Perhaps your feeding your body's cells the ultimate thing they need for cellular functioning, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory. Plus, it's probably "moving it through" like a good janitor!

I'm trying to make better food choices and the little things do count.

My cholesterol level is through the roof and I also need to drop some weight. I'm eating less meat. One problem is I don't like most seafood (I know go ahead and say it "you are messed up&quot . The only thing I'll eat is shrimp. My wife bought some and cooked it up with rice and peppers and it was pretty good.

I'm also trying smoothies as well. We only use strawberries, milk and plain yogurt. The strawberries are frozen so if you don't put in too much milk it will be thick (my wife made the mistake of doing that last night and it was more of a milkshake ).

I've also cut out most all of the junk food. I still have one really bad habit I have to break and that will take awhile.

( he likes the "quick oats&quot and by snacking on baby carrots, apples and celery at night.
We do not eat much red meat, mainly chicken and some pork.

So his was just above 200. Mine was quite a bit higher than that. I've heard Omega is good as well especially since I don't eat fish. The baby carrots sound like a good idea.

when you break it down it's mostly higher readings of good cholesterol OR
the type of bad cholesterol that turns out not to be the sticky clog up your arteries type.
You really have to break down the numbers and not focus only on the total number.

I refuse to take statins. My doc advised reducing carbohydrates and taking two tabs of
fish oil --1000-1200 mgs. daily. I already eat a lot of veggies every day. Like you, I'm
not crazy about fish. I guess I can tolerate salmon once a week. Looking for easy recipes
that use a lot of spices. I go back in 3 months and will see if the blood tests show any
result from taking the fish oil caps.

On edit: I will also shoot for losing 20 lbs to put myself back in a healthy BMI range.
For exercise, I walk over an hour daily.

I'll have to look again to see how my results break down. The problem is since I'm in Korea I have to get help reading them.

I've been looking online for stuff. Fortunately I didn't clear my browser so I was able to go back and find the site that looked good. It's called 3 fat chicks on a diet. Some ideas for entrees: http://www.3fatchicks.com/diet-recipes/low-calorie/entrees/
