Two nights, one on the town, the next at the show.

What's fun to do in Raleigh, nightlife wise?

And they ought to have a Halloween event each year at the Kings Motel, lol.

(well, 57...but we are in North Raleigh - a good haul into Raleigh, esp. if having some beers)...

Glenwood Ave South area has lots of restaurants and bars....lots of smaller live music venue downtown - best thing to do is check latest copy of the Independent Weekly - http://www.indyweek.com/ - has lots of options.

Enjoy and have fun! Who are you seeing? We caught The National at Red Hat (downtown Raleigh) - superb concert - a few months ago.
