(13,324 posts)When I saw them the other night they played about a dozen songs in a ~20-minute set, and the energy level was off the charts.
*Edit: Meant to go under reply #2. I was referring to Dropdead.

(12,132 posts)I love all the bands mentioned in this thread. I'm sad, though, that I have yet to see the Casualties live...DD and Pig Destroyer were well worth the price of admission...

(12,132 posts)with Gwar at the GwarBQ in Richmond, VA - like this last week I think...there were a lot of bands on the bill - I don't especially care about Gwar but I woulda paid just to see PD again. She said it was a great time and great show. Corrosion of Conformity and Municipal Waste also plaid along with several others..

(2,670 posts)there that finds Municipal Waste kinda overrated them and that band Toxic Holocaust

(12,132 posts)but still fun live...I think the best of the newer thrash bands is Warbringer:
Really nice kids - talked to the singer and guitarist for a few minutes at a show here a couple years ago - Before and after their set they manned their merch table section - they seemed like they were totally in it for the music which always impresses me more than slick advertising. I bought their CD on the spot - I hope they used the money for a beer or two.
