My first day off is tommorow, but it is filled with work!

Sis# 2 says that since I am working a full time job, I need to work harder for her on my days off. She wants me to clean her house. She says I need to earn my place around here. She was the one that keep telling me to just relax, don't go looking so fast. Mainly she wants a house keeper.

Now I don't mind helping out, but this place of hers is a disaster. And since I have been here she has just set in her chair telling what to clean. She has not been doing much of anything. Now that I have been working, one week mind you, what progress I have made is gone. So she is upset that I have been on the job and not doing as much. Hard to do all of what needs to be done when you need to work 8 hours and sleep at least eight. Not to mention that I do have other stuff to do to get back on my feet.

I can't understand how she could let the place go like she has. It will take way more work than I have time for. And I can't clean the whole thing up and keep it that way if she does not do here part. She needs to clean up after herself more. It is her house after all!

And I just got the Food Stamp Card today,19 days after it was suppose to come in. Now she is mad that I don't just go out and spend it all on stocking the freezer. I need to call and check that since I have a job before it came in., That I won't have any penalties or anything. I really don't trust the Missouri Division of Family Services. They seem to really not have all their T's crossed.

But she is trying to tell me it is OK, bit at the Career Center they said DON'T touch it till I get clearance. And I think I will go with the Center.

glad to hear you get a day off, and go with your thoughts: 'Go with the Center,' and await clearance.

I don't want to pay fines.

And I really don't understand her, then again her way of doing things is part of the reasons we had a parting of ways.

Helping out doesn't seem too much to ask.

I wonder what your sister's side of the story is?

even if it means she's a pig. But you don't have to be her maid, either.

I would try a little compromise. Take a few minutes, maybe 15 or so, to straighten up one area or do a load of laundry. You could also see if you can get her to do something with you like clean the kitchen together.

You are in a tough spot. I hope it's just temporary!

She is the mailing address. I stay with some old school friends and the other sister. But to use her for mail, I am a cleaning lady I guess.

ADD: Both sis's live one block from each other. I use sis 1 for a mailing address and while I was job hunting for wi-fi.
But due to her dogs, I stay with either sis 2 or friends. I think I have stayed with sis #1 4 times.
