(19,372 posts)I have a soft spot for the '67 Chevelles as I owned one once. Really kick myself for selling it.
Love that '69 Roadrunner too!

(2,397 posts)I mean, it does have an awsome paint job.
I'm sorry if this going overboard, but I can't help it. Give me an old SS, or Camero, Firebird, and I'll put some slicks on it, and throw some nitro into the engine.
And OMG! If I was ever able to get my hands on a roadster, or a kit to build one, you know where you would find me.
You can't help me with this disease of fast mussel cars. Had it since 1974. No cure.
What is this thing anyway? I keep confusing on old Hudson with a Ford. So I'm not sure what car this is.

The inside is a drag racer.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,367 posts)As that car looks NOTHING like a Funny Car.
This is a Top Fuel Funny Car
The one in the previous post is not in the same class, not by a long shot. It likely retains much of the original chassis.

(6,829 posts)It's supposed to be a 34 Ford three window coupe. The body was reformed to be "swoopy" and provide some downforce aerodynamics to keep the car stable and slicks hooked up at high speeds.

I believe that is what VW calls them.

It's a Corvair pickup truck.
The engine is in the rear, the owner put a plastic sheet over the engine.

(9,982 posts)The ramp is unique to Greenbriars. "Dropside" is uaually a generic term for truck bodies - you see them on some of the Home Depot rentals.
