I have a friend that is coming off of real cigarettes, and it using e-cigs

She's ... irritable.

Is this normal?

When I say irritable I mean about like poking an alligator in the snout with a stick. It has only been a few days, though.

I encouraged her to try them because I've heard such good things about them.

I'm not really educated on these things, but if it helps her quit smoking around me with fumes, I'm all for it.

That's why I asked.

after a carton a week for years. I never thought she could do it. She's proud that she "hasn't killed anyone yet."

If you want to quit...Quit.

Back to irritable. When I quit smoking....few years ago.. I think I threatened to burn down half of America.
NOBODY wanted to be with me. I never struck anyone (not my style) but quitting smoking was the hardest thing I've ever tried to do.

I did beat the little sons-a-bitches and am a better person.
