like the other leg is white and appears against white so that it appears white.

However, it is well documented (Kittypaws, 2003, 2006) that at least some calicoes have the preternatural ability to suck their limbs back into their body for a short time. It is unclear whether this is to deceive unsuspecting prey or just to fuck with us. I suspect the latter.
