(21,020 posts)I didn't really get how funny those things were.
Anyway, my favorite narrator/character voice was Sterling Holloway, who was the voice of Winnie The Pooh.

Jury decision was correct.

(12,132 posts)You can't fracture a tale by walking into a bar - you can fracture a tail.
That's all I meant and I was playing on Xipe's Everett reference with a Bullwinkle one.
I did nothing wrong because I know in my heart I wasn't trying to play off the word "fairy" in a homosexual manner. That didn't even occur to me.
I am sorry, however, that it hurt anyone. My sig line is there for a reason.

(18,101 posts)I loved "Fractured Fairy Tales" when I was a kid. I had to google to find out why your post would have been hidden. I had no idea he was gay.

(12,132 posts)I am actually horrifed now.
I don;pt even know what else to say. I didn't mean it that way and I am sorry I wrote it. Just because I didn't mean it that way doesn't mean I shouldn't have taken a moment to consider that it could have been.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt here. Kind of like the guy at the Giants game who was so disgusted with their play he picked up something from a food cart and hurled it onto the field. It happened to be a banana. Which landed right next to Orioles outfielder Adam Jones. Who happens to be African American.

I knew at the time that that was the name of the narrator. He was credited on screen if I recall correctly, and as a kid I thought his name was funny.
Edited to add: I just looked at your Wikipedia link. I didn't realize that he had done all of that other stuff. I only ever knew the name from Rocky and Bullwinkle.
