Sweet, nice little tropical thunderstorm we are having here :D

Lightning, thunder, downpour! We get 6 months of straight rain here in Vancouver but rarely get any lightning or thunder, it's fun when we do. I'm wondering if I should be having a bath / shower now though, but the likelihood of getting struck is almost nill anyway.

We began the season in monsoon mode. June saw a record amount of rain in a three week period. Then we ran into a rainfall deficit for the better part of our summer. Not a drought by definition, however we could use some rain...
