September 6th? Seriously? The Christmas crap is already on display. Can't they wait until at least Halloween?

I do have to say though, after an incredibly hot summer, it did bring on a little cooler imagery, for which I'd be grateful.

Kids weren't even back to school yet. They had a Mickey/Minnie Christmas light display.
I DO wonder about all those prepackaged holiday cookies and foods. What must be IN them to keep them around the next 3 months?
I noticed this because when they bring in the seasonal, they start moving the regular stuff and it's like a scavenger hunt to find things.

(1,043 posts)I stopped for a roast a huge apple pie and two of their world famous 40 pound bales of Toilet Paper.
If I was doing my regular resupply what you describe might be there. The store here usually waits until Halloween and then mashes Thanksgiving and Christmas into the wonderful scavenger hunt you so aptly describe.
If only they would just stop MOVING STUFF!!! LOL.
I admit to being shopping impaired though.
