Movie I'm looking forward to.

"Saving Mr. Banks" is a film about the behind the scenes turmoil during the making of Walt Disney's 'Mary Poppins' (1964).

Great cast: Tom Hanks plays Walt Disney, Emma Thompson is the author
P.I. Travers, Colin Farrell is Emma Thompson's father (in flashbacks to her childhood.)

I think it's scheduled for a Christmas release.

It's Johnny Knoxville playing himself as an 86 year old guy driving his grandson across the country.

You know the stripper thing is actually sort of interesting social commentary too as the mothers there don't realize that what they are doing to their daughters, while not THAT extreme is along the same lines.

... nearly pissed my pants laughing.

I really need to see it - and it's is not my 'usual style' of movie, by a longshot.

as the little guy was finishing his pole dance I laughed loud enough that someone came into my office to see what was so damned funny.

Then we were both laughing.

Based on an incredible true story of one man's fight for survival and freedom. In the pre-Civil War United States, Solomon Northup (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a free black man from upstate New York, is abducted and sold into slavery. Facing cruelty (personified by a malevolent slave owner, portrayed by Michael Fassbender), as well as unexpected kindnesses, Solomon struggles not only to stay alive, but to retain his dignity. In the twelfth year of his unforgettable odyssey, Solomon's chance meeting with a Canadian abolitionist (Brad Pitt) will forever alter his life.
