or received a message meant for someone else?
i once sent my sister a message meant for one of my friends about how i was too stoned to go to the grocery store. it was a little embarrassing.
got one from my boss that said 'how's it going beautiful?' i am pretty sure he heard me laughing and i know he was more than a little mortified.
edited to correct what i saw as a train wreck of a sentence.

(1,014 posts)"Nice," picture to send to my husband, because I was feeling frisky. I accidentally sent it to a old high school boy friend that I became friends with again after almost 20 years. Talk about embarrassed. My husband laughed his ass about it. Said that it must have been a good surprise for him.

(18,312 posts)Thankfully I didn't send the message I was GOING to send, but I texted my boss instead of my husband and said something akin to
Ooooh I love you sooooo much can't wait to spend time with you kiss kiss kiss and then little emoticon faces of smooches and then a pile of poo.
My boss was a lady (so am I) and I realized what i did immediately and sent a "sorry, thought I was texting my husband"
I was ORIGINALLY going to write something about 1) how much my job fucking sucked 2) can't wait for the weekend off to get super stoned and use our new vibrator and 3) when's the next time we're going to have a swingers episode with some friends because I couldn't remember the date.
One of those times when i'm really glad I went with my gut and didn't send that message
:ashamed:
i don't know how well that would have gone over

(18,312 posts)because my boss was the most uptight b. I've ever known in my life. I thought I was going to get fired for the "love you, see you tomorrow" text.
I think one time she heard that smiling took 10 years off your life and laughing took 20, and she took it seriously.

What an incredible function that probably saved countless jobs and relationships.
I wonder why it's not offered now.
