don't judge. it was the cheapest beer that i knew my husband wouldn't complain about.

we're going out for sushi in a bit and although i'd really like some sake, i know that it will kill me and i'll probably get a sapporo with dinner.

I've had several Bourbon (and rye) barrel aged beers that were stellar.
This, IMO, wasn't one of them. Cheers!!

15. Thomas Hooker Octoberfest

I love this little brewery. My all time favorite is their IPA but this one is a gem. Nice and malty with just a perfect body.

16. Went to a local brewpub tonight and had a glass of their "Brer Rabbit Double IPA."

9.5% and very tasty.

20. I've got a case of Golden Road IPA that I've been slowly working on finishing.

Excellent IPA from a local brewery in downtown Los Angeles.

If things go bad, perhaps 1 Campari soda. I never drink to even buzzy anymore.
