I was trying to do a job on George, Duke of Clarence from Richard III, and thinking I was doing well, when a bald guy with a Van Dyke screamed at me: "God's WOUNDS! Cannot the lad ACT?!?"

It was hate at first sight.

Later, he told me that really, Clarence's first speech to Richard went well, he just wanted to get my measure. We went around to a tavern and got hammered. After a few ales, he said to me that no one else had ever got the rhythm quite right:

And from the cross-row, plucks the letter 'G'
And says that by 'G' his issue
Disinherited should be
And for my name of George begins with 'G',
It follows in his thought that I am he."

The rest is history...
