Ther are some great people here on DU!

I was sent a little care package from one of my friends here. It had all the little stuff one needs and would not think about in it.

It was a great surprise! And yes I did give the scarf and gloves to one that needed it more than me since I still have mine. But that just made it even better since someone else got a little warmth from my friend too!

I'd like to think it's because we are progressives and Democrats.

I think that's the main reason, besides the fact that we, in general, rock.
