Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsO goody, my kitty just had to let me know she killed a mouse.
Nothing would do until I followed her into the room where the dead mouse was.
She is happy know, playing with the dead mouse.
Of course she knock over a bunch of stuff to catch it.
That is OK, she caught the mouse.

(2,817 posts)than having Patches catch a fuzzy toy at 3 A.M. and yowl.
I get up from bed and take the toy away.
I fall asleep again and she finds another toy. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. I do a toy patrol to pick up all toys and hide them.
After 4 times of being awakened I go to her one last time, this time it's different...she has no toy!
UGH!

(56,177 posts)I still feel bad for the mouse! Although they're cats' favorite prey.

(23,244 posts)...before she took all the fun out of them! She took a mouse she'd caught (not dead yet) onto my sister's bed at 2am. It got away and ran under the covers and up Sis's nightgown. So I hear this blood-curdling scream, and my sister is standing on the bed, dancing, trying to shake this mouse out of her jammies, and the poor cat is looking up at her as if to say, "What? Don't you like my present? You're the human I liked best, so I brought it to you special!"
Ah, the kitteh memories!
