A good singer I知 still not, but

I don’t sound as bad as I did before I learned to breathe right, or at least closer to right. My goal was to be able to sing along with everyone else at family gatherings, and now I finally can. My speaking voice is better now too.

I recorded this Irish song about a week ago. It’s a little higher than I usually try to sing. Since recording it I’ve improved the higher notes and can get through the verse with fewer breaths. Oh, and with the pronunciation, I’ve learned to roll r’s properly and to not put the “ee” sound at the end of long “a” but to instead say long “a” a bit more like “eh.”

I recorded it wearing my cow jammies with my poodle Ty on my lap. He slept through it all but the high notes. That’s how I knew they needed work.

Harvey Fierstein - whom I dearly love, but I didn't want to sound like him.

that it took me a very long time to get as far as I have. Singing still doesn't come naturally for me. Probably never will, but that's okay.
