That tarnishes my image of him.
But I like to think that there was an arc of growth from the belligerent, bar-brawling kid of the late fifties and early sixties, and the impassioned peace advocate of the seventies. Mark David Chapman robbed us of the opportunity to see more growth and maturation from John Lennon. And he robbed us of so much more...

It's so strange to think that he's been gone almost as long as he was here with us. He gave us so much and I miss him very much.
