The ultimate "Oh Shit!" moment

By TED THORNHILL
This is the jaw-some moment a lucky seal manages to overturn the odds and escape from a Great White - after balancing on its nose.

As these amazing photographs show one seal escaped the jaws of death after balancing on the massive sharks nose just inches from rows and rows of razor sharp teeth.

in the belly with substantial force by the shark's snout and was lifted out of the water, sustaining internal injuries in the process which would have slowed him down and made it unlikely that he escaped the shark, if it kept pursuing him. Hope springs eternal that he somehow survived, though.

But then, when I see shows on PBS of seals making meals out of cute penguins, I'm rooting for the penguins.

Circle of life I guess and just glad I wasn't in on the circle with that shark.
