For the longest time I thought of the History Channel as the Hitler Channel - All Hitler, All The Time.

yesterday there was a listing on one of those channels for a show about the history of the TP. I didn't watch it, so I don't know if it dissed, or complimented, the TP.

on regular TV (not cable) that were 100% about science? I'm thinking, of course, of Bill Nye the Science Guy and Beakman's World.

Sad, fucked-up times we live in.

I am looking forward to the new Cosmos series with Neil DeGrasse Tyson that shows up next year on, of all channels, FOX. Maybe that can help pull us out of this depressing slump.

shows like that aren't flashy enough for a lot of today's viewers - or something.

I like Neil DeGrasse Tyson very much and I'm glad he'll be doing a new Cosmos series! Too bad about it being on FOX, but maybe it'll smarten up some 'baggers.
