In the medical field, a Skilled Nursing Facility is referred to as a "sniff".

1. Yup. My mom spend many stretches in them before she passed.

During her career she also managed placements as a social worker. None of that made her any more willing to be a patient, however.

I got to bring her home in March until she died in May.
