of Jerry always getting the best of Tom?

The picture is great, but I don't like Tom & Jerry cartoons. They were the most violent toons around back when I was a little kid. I remember one in which Tom killed Jerry. Jerry's little body was lying on a slab with a white sheet on it, and Tom was looking at it with a sad face, apparently realizing he didn't really want Jerry to be dead. Somber music played, and then Jerry's ghost, complete with angel wings and halo, rose from the body. That's all I remember, except that I cried and cried. I never again watched a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

(55,894 posts)4. I agree with you, btw. I didn't like Tom and Jerry either. Or Itchy and Scratchy on The Simpsons.
And what a story about your being little and crying.

like we look at Fox "news".
