The great Memphis Slim
I saw him live in Paris in 1968 where he resided (he became an ex-pat in the early 60s and eventually died there). I love his blues piano and his easy laid-back vocal style.

Matt played with Memphis Slim for many years and definitely got around. Played with a bunch of the legends like Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, James Cotton, Otis Rush, Etta James, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Chuck Berry and Joe Louis Walker.
