2. Here in MN, it's 14 degrees F and it feels like 3 degrees F.

It's 77 degrees here right now at 10:00pm.
Had to wear socks with my shorts and have to button my polo shirt.
It's going to get down to about 65 tonight. May need to keep the ceiling fan over my bed turned off. Brrrr.

5. One thing I don't miss about the desert...

Is the bone chilling, eyeball freezing cold in winter. Very dry cold that goes right through your clothing.

10. I'm lobbying for a generator...

Summer before last we had a massive straight line wind storm blow through. Air temperatures around 100 with 70°+ dew points for 4 days straight with no power. I'm thinking this weekend is time to go get that generator.

7. We finally got snow yesterday,

about eight inches. A couple more days and Anchorage would have beat the old record for latest first snowfall.

If you live in Maine or Minnesota and it's snowing, all I can say is "Eh, what else is new?"

It never snows here in November. In fact it's been years since we've had snow before January.

16. Thanks. Here in Rockville, MD we're expecting snow showers

but I haven't seen any yet.

Snow showers or flurries aren't that unusual in central Maryland during November and December. Snow rarely sticks on the ground until after Jan. 1.
