iirc he appeared as himself, sitting on a couch. I don't think he even had a single line.

along with fellow British musician Lulu. Every time the host (who was the raggedy guy who always said "It's" at the beginning of Monty Python) said "It's", the Monty Python music would come on. Both Ringo and Lulu left the set without saying anything.

George Harrison produced Eric Idles's Beatles's sendup, which is the best Beatles biography I've ever seen!

Technically not "Flying Circus", but still Monty Python. I never knew about Harrison's cameo role. And Harrison also had a cameo role in "All You Need Is Cash" the story of "The Rutles", which was produced by Eric Idle and also featured a cameo appearance by Al Franken.
