I like it that, despite all the "studies' that claim everybody is always thinking about sex, everybody is mostly going about the business/work/ - so NOBODY is thinking/doing/*** MOST OF THE TIME?!1

However I at some jobs I was thinking (most of the time) about doing.

(6,154 posts)I worked retail jobs for a number of years. Seeing hundreds of people a day you can't help but be attracted to many in one way or another. Not saying I was thinking crass pornographic thoughts all the time but when a pretty woman walks up to the counter it's hard not to be affected at all. Or a handsome man if you are a woman / gay. But yes not every job and certainly not ALL the time as some portrails have it.

Today, I visited with a new female patient. Very attractive, and very well-groomed. Vivacious and intelligent. But the job requires me to be objective, so any attraction I may have felt for her had to be subordinated to professionalism.
