People are so rude around Christmas time....

So I did my normal thing of passing out fliers to my neighbors stating that proper etiquette is that they have all Christmas decorations down by midnight, but it's almost noon and no one has even started taking them down. Some jerk even told me to mind my own business. WTF? How can people be so rude?

1. So be neighborly and take your ladder to some of their houses and give them a hand taking them down.

While etiquette would normally dictate waiting to be asked, sometimes you need to make the first move. In no time I think you'll bring your whole neighborhood together on this issue.

She was outside this morning taking down the decorations outside. She just called me to say it was done and she had started on the tree. It will be on the curb waiting for the mulcher by the time I get home tonight. She always takes the day after christmas off to celebrate "Undecorate Day" as she lovingly calls it. By noon most will be done. I would leave everythign up until after the new year at least, but she insists it all comes down today.

I bought too many and plan on setting them off around midnight all through January.
