Two days of food and drink with my family. I even skipped church so I could be with my mom after 11 days in the hospital.
Had a great time but I feel hung over.

(60,019 posts)glad your mom is doing better. We are readjusting to an empty house - test driving my new Chromecast device by watching Rudolph on the TV (via YouTube on my laptop - what a cool, useful little device ChromeCast is!)...my wife is knitting, one of our cats is curled up next to me.
see you around!

(16,245 posts)But I did get to see my family and we had a nice time. I skipped Christmas dinner because I've had no appetite, but at least the fever is gone.
I'm not looking forward to driving home, but I need a couple of days to recover before work on Monday.

(23,272 posts)I know its already evening by the time I've had time to respond but this morning I had NO zip.
I hosted the Christmas festivities for 21 people yesterday for the day's feast and celebration, on top of working.
Then my guy who cleans my stalls AND the guy who does evening chores wanted the day off today so when I woke up I knew I faced a hell day of 38 stalls to clean plus pm chores on top of the usual daily chores.
So I'm sitting here this evening in double "blah" mode....
(With a glass of wine to ease the pain... )
