I had the pleasure of playing this on keyboard with a wedding band (at a family member's wedding!). I think everybody was floating off the ground about a foot anyway, and we levitated them maybe another couple of inches.

It's really a hard tune to play, by the way -- some tricky chord changes and those stops/starts are easy to miss. Exceedingly cool song -- sounds like it could have been a Beatles song from the Sgt. Pepper's era.

Thanks for the video!

For him, it was all about the chord changes... I'm no musician but it was fun to hear him talking about what made the song "work" for him

One of the saddest songs I think I've ever heard..."What can you do when your dream world is gone, and your friends and lovers too?"

Have you seen the documentary about Jeff Lynne? I had no idea he had been involved with so many projects. And, I have a tiny bit of a crush on him, too.

It's the largely forgotten and underrated concept album "Time" from 1981. Listening to it today reminds me how prescient it was.

Happy Birthday Jeff!
