You do not tell your head coach that if he doesn't get into the playoffs he's fired. Might as well just fire the coach right then and there. That type of scrutiny just screams for bad plays and stress mistakes - something a team doesn't need for 17 weeks of the season.
The Cowboys played a great game yesterday but in the end it was stupid mistakes that cost them the game. As an Eagles fan we knew that our owner Jeff Lurie was just tickled pink that his team with a rookie NFL coach and brand new QB would even be in playoff contention.
Cowboys don't need to fire their coach - they need to fire their owner.
