Broncos got a couple of first downs, but have now punted back to the Pats.

Broncos can't really afford that. He got hurt right before halftime during the regular season matchup. Made a huge difference in the second half.

Broncos called a timeout on fourth and 1 and then decided to kick the field goal anyway. But by calling the timeout they saved 25 seconds before halftime for New England to work with.
