As the survivors of the prison assault try to regroup, Rick and Carl stumble upon a vacant house in the forest. Meanwhile, Daryl and Beth realize they are being watched by a Group of Bandits Named "The Hunters", and a new threat begins to emerge.

Comic fans will remember The Hunters. Too bad Dale isn't around anymore for his epic bow-out vs the Hunters.

After a long winter break, The Walking Dead returns tonight with its Season 4 Mid-Season Premiere. The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 9 is called “After,” which is likely a reference to it taking place after The Governor’s attack on the prison. With the football season over, it’s also likely that The Walking Dead could break another ratings record when it returns.

The Season 4 Mid-Season Finale was an exceptionally strong episode, and it left a number of unanswered questions. While The Governor and baby Judith both appeared to have been killed off, there are still questions over if one or both of them might have somehow survived.

It's quite obvious the Governor is dead. He was impaled with Michonne's sword and shot in the head by Lilly. There is no "appeared to have been killed off" with him.

67. I grew up about 20 miles from that area.

There were springs when our grass was higher than our knees waiting for it dry out enough to cut. After about three weeks in that climate without having the grass cut, a tractor would have been a gift from God trying to mow the grass in 95 degree weather with 100 percent humidity. By the time you would get done, it was time to start over on the first part again.

I miss the weather there, but damn, I hated mowing the lawn with push mower.

Boy was I wrong - I was so sure Carol would appear and save Rick's life in the nick of time using the medical knowledge she acquired from Hershel. Drama! Anyway I'm pretty sure I saw her name in the opening credits, so she must be coming back soon. Maybe Darryl will save her next week, or vice versa. Drama!

I thought it was a very suspenseful episode. They had me hating Carl all over again, but then grudgingly letting go of the hate when he couldn't shoot Rick.

I can't believe how much I have missed this show!
