Adios Texas, it's back to Nevada on Friday...

...maybe I "didn't give it a chance," but I've worn out my welcome with the friend I've been staying with, never really enjoyed the place or fit in (not that I tried)...

The 1250 mile ride back will be somewhat brutal, BUT I will be back in the right head space.

I will probably set up "basecamp" for a week in Vegas so that I can solicit business in Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City.

It is not going to be easy but my personal little cautionary tale for anyone reading this is best summed up in Jack Nicholson's opening words in "The Departed"..

"I don't want to be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me."

I've never been a "fit in" guy and this place just wasn't me. Not that Nevada is me either...it's just that Nevada is this amazing assembly of random assholes who ALSO don't fit in...ANYWHERE...and so they chose to not fit in in Nevada, just like me.

Details will follow.
