Later today, he's going to cast a deciding vote to defeat gay marriage in MD because after getting elected on a marriage-equality platform with support from national and local gay-rights organizations, he had an "epiphany" that anything more than Civil Unions were "offensive". He's come as far as to say he won't support this bill unless it's amended to put the issue to referendum. Sam, you asshole, I've noticed that you're good enough to take the money of my gay friends but not to vote that they're equal under the law. I only wish someone was running against you for your seat, I might do it myself.
