Tucson Roller Derby

Tucson, AZ – February, 2012 – February to most girls includes a nice dinner, flowers,
jewelry, and romance. But the girls of Tucson Roller Derby aren’t your every-day kind
of lady, and this February we are celebrating with hits and bruises! February 18th marks
the 5th home game in the race to the conference championship, and if last month’s
game is any indication, the competition is tougher than ever! As with our last game,
TRD is happy to announce that all three of your home teams will be playing in one night!
In the first bout, the VICE Squad dukes it out against their long-time rivals, the
Furious Truckstop Waitresses. In the second game of the night, the Copper Queens will
fight for a home team win against the reigning AZ State champions,
the Bad News Beaters of Arizona Roller Derby.

Groundbreaking pediatric heart and stroke research. About 36,000 babies are born
with heart defects each year —research is the key to saving babies’ lives. Getting
life-saving information to those who need it most – information that can save a life,
like how to eat better, how to recognize the warning signs of heart attack, and how
to talk to a doctor about critical health choices."
