The discovery of the mummified body believed to be a suburban Detroit woman who had not been seen for six years has left neighbors and her family questioning what happened.
While the Oakland County, Mich., police have not officially identified the woman, ABC News affiliate WXYZ-TV in Detroit identified the homes owner as Pia Farrenkopf. It is believed to be her body that was found in the homes garage this week.
The womans body was found Wednesday by a contractor who was working on the property after it had been foreclosed on. The body was found in a the backseat of a car in the garage and the car key was turned in the off position in the ignition.
On Thursday, the county medical examiner performed an autopsy but found no trauma.
Shes been dead years, Administrator for the Medical Examiners Office Robert Gerds told The Associated Press. Everything is pending right now. Its still under investigation.

Of course, they could just be saving face.
Families do break apart. I don't have anything to do with any of mine because I simply won't tolerate gratuitous abuse anymore. I could have died long ago, and none of them would have even noticed.
On the other hand, my neighbors across the street would notice because they want to buy my house at bankruptcy price, so have been trying to force me into bankruptcy or drive me out. They couldn't report me dead fast enough...if they thought they could get away with it, they'd probably murder me. They have attempted to drive my horses into the busy road and lured my dogs into the road with a strategically placed moose liver. I had to post my property to keep them off it when I'm not home.

And there were *multiple* people in her home for a multitude of reasons, but still none of them saw her...
Very sad -- She seemingly had a good life until things went downhill very, very quickly...
