(13,081 posts)Basically the entire last scene is an homage to the original Transformers movie. I laughed my ass off while I played through it, but as I kicked ass singing along to "You've Got the Touch" and laughing until I cried when the protagonist PC said "One shall stand and one shall fall," I couldn't help but thinking it was me and maybe ten other people on Earth got the joke.
Must be at least 37 of us would get it.

(6,682 posts)The cinematography is also beautifully done. The light and colors outside the Keep stand in such contrast to the inside. The acting is somewhat over done, but in thinking of Michael Mann's other films, it is pretty typical of his style.
It's also on Netflix.
I hope you enjoy it, Mr S!

And it sucked. Nonsensical locations, and silly plot that had nothing to do with the real Battle of the Bulge. What a waste of Robert Shaw's limited time on this earth.

In a class by itself. In my humble opinion, it's the best really awful movie ever made.

(46,757 posts)But that was star-studded. In the best scene you'll see many of the key female actors in the audience, including Lucille Ball.
