What is the song you can sing the best? "Dreams" by Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac.

That and "leaving on a jet plane" are the only songs I can sing on key on. I seem to have to mimic a singer, I have no voice of my own, and I don't have a head for memorization at all. I think I could also sing some Don Maclean too if you made me...but don't make me.

Maybe seeing her name prompted it. I don't have a good singing voice but that doesn't stop me from belting it out in the car!

Frank Sinatra. Bobby Darin. And, on a good day, but not every day, Tony Bennett and Andy Williams.

that there is no such tune in my repertoire.

"best" would imply at least some level of competence and my pipes just don't have that in 'em.
Every single song I sing sounds similarly suckish and sad.

Strangers, friends and family,
E'en most loved all do agree
From time to time
I can make a rhyme
But singing them ain't for me.

It is a personal goal of mine to make enough money to be able to afford a limousine driver who will drop me off at my favorite part of the park at which to play guitar, and wait for me until I am done.

of different bands from time to time....sort of a "hired gun" type of thing. I have several 'signature' songs that I am expected to sing no matter who I'm performing with....

....but the ones I enjoy the most are (in no particular order of preference):
Can't You See - Marshall Tucker Band
One Way Out - Allman Brothers
Ice Cream Man - Van Halen

I like Bonnie Raitt's version best. It just feels good in my mouth.

But allI can find on Youtube is Joni's original.
