(7,720 posts)I had a Lite Brite, but I melted it when I replaced the light buld with a 100 watt bulb instead of a 40 watt bulb. I also remember getting up early on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons. We were up when the TV stations were showing test patterns. In my late teens I still remember when TV stations signed off the air at midnight with a video showing a patriotic scenes while a band played the Star Spangled Banner.
