Speaking of Led Zeppelin

I just saw a great Led Zep tribute band this last weekend. Get The Led Out came down to sunny Florida for some shows and it was well worth going. These guys love the music as much as I do and it shows. They aren't interested in "looking " like the band so no dragon suits and wigs and all that stuff - they just get enough guitar players up there to recreate Jimmy's guitar army and a singer that that can hit the right notes and then proceed to destroy you for 2 hours and change.

They are based in the Northeast so you guys up there should be able to see them and if you are a fan of Led Zep there is no good reason not to go.

I admit I used to think of LZ as "sacred" and hated the thought of anyone other than Jimmy, Robert, Jonesy and Bonzo doing their music - but how can I be mad at people who love Led Zep and want to play it for me? If I had a musical bone in my body I'd be playing Zep all day too! It was an immature attitude that kept me from seeing tribute bands in the past. I'm glad I got over that.
