You give me any movie with Julianne Moore or Ed Harris in it and I'll watch it

Probably 2 of my favorite actors out there - both very talented!

But there is no way I want to sit thru this 'Game Change' movie that HBO is putting out there. I already lived thru McCain/Palin candidancy, I really don't need to relive it even if it shows just how disfunctional those 2 really were and how Palin was the worst mistake that McCain could have ever done.

I did see a preview on HBO and Julianne Moore did get the Sarah Palin look and talk. And it's nice to know that a woman who has spoken at Planned Parenthood rallys (Moore) is portraying Palin.

a fair and balanced treatment of some well meaning, if misdirected, politicians. Like you I find Sara Palin a fascinating and watchable character. Maybe we could get a big watch party together and invent a drinking game... one shot for each "You betcha" and one massive chug for each "Oh my fucking Christ, she's an idiot!"

Even watching Tina Fey do impressions of Sarah Palin I found cringeworthy.

I would rather watch those annoying Emergency Broadcast Emergency System Tests than watch or listen to Sarah Palin.

7. I agree. She totally defies all categories. She's like Everywoman.

Too bad such fun and sassy gal as the delightful Ms Palin isn't qualified to be leader of free world. I also cringe with laughter everytime Tina Fey does her adoring tribute to "Miss Sarah". Hey, remember when Tina and Sarah shared the screen in that one SNL episode? I chortled for hours! She's so self-depricating.... and just so much fun! She's quite the looker to boot, as you imply in your post!

Indeed, she really could make those blaring emergency broadcast tests easier to tolerate. I think I'll take your suggestion and write the FCC and request the they put her face in the middle of those concentric circles! Now that she's out of politics, I think it'd be O.K.!

Thanks for the great ideas, LynneSin! Well, gotta go now. Or as our pal Sarah says, "Here's lookin' atcha!"

The one that was really tough was "Recount" that HBO put out a few years ago about the nightmare in 2000.

....and HBO seems to be the one stepping up. Recount, Too Big To Fail, and now this. It's great that we're getting our "American History - Based On A True Story" from someplace other than Faust News.

I'll be watching it, you betcha!

I'd love to know what was going on behind the scenes of that campaign.

The ones that need to watch it are the ones who had their Sarah Palin experience shaped by Fox News. There will be a few who watch that won't believe it, of course; but perhaps there will be more than a few who will get angry and insulted when they realize how shallow the Republican Party is with regards to the contempt that they hold for their average voter's intelligence. I don't think the acting lines by Moore and Harris will be as enlightening as the reasons why Sarah was selected in the 1st place.

I watched The Way Back the other day and thought it was really good. There's quite a few Ed Harris movies that I really like. I thought the Empire Falls miniseries was one of his best.
