managed to twist my ankle yesterday

and fall on my ass in front of people. it hurts like a mother and i didn't sleep well last night because i couldn't get comfortable. it's wrapped, under ice and elevated. i also took the day off work to rest it, but i have an appointment this afternoon i can't miss.

no point in going to the clinic since they'll just tell me to do what i'm doing and they're stingy with pain meds.

i'm just hoping it covers my injury/major illness for the year. poor me.

If I were your provider, I'd put you on a prednisone taper to ease the swelling. Aristus May 2014 #1

And a shot of toradol for pain. Give your provider a chance.

all my fractured elbow got me was 800 mg ibuprofens, so i'm skeptical of spending money to go to the clinic. i'd be more confident in spending that money if i had a pcp.

Do you have a tube of arnica gel around? CVS sells it now. Good for bumps and bruises and stuff like that.

I hope you feel better soon.

My daughter tripped over one of the cats on the stairs a few days ago and landed on her bottom. Contusion of the sacrum, I think they called it. The only way she can sit at all is on an inflatable rubber ring.

Hope you feel better very soon...
