Now THAT'S funny!

And too true. That is the cool thing about the bulldog breeds - they don't take NO for an answer!

"Whaddya mean I can't get this through the door?

Gus was out there thinking "You know what this pool needs? A roof over it!"

Too funny. Reminds me of my late bud MR. BB. He would do something like that. BB would go off into the woods, drag a big ass branch out and proceed to strip it down to appropriate size for throwing, then drop it at your feet and ask you to toss it for him!

Some dogs are diggers,
some dogs are engineers.

Ain't that the truth!

Because the dog across the street runs around like a maniac with his deflated soccer ball. It has been his favorite toy for at least 6 years! It appears to me to be the most boring uncomfortable possible toy but he loves it. Gus has one upped him in choosing the most awkward chew toy. That pool makes the soccer ball look downright comfortable to chew on.

I buy my cat a new toy about once a month and constantly have to be on the lookout for a fresh one to keep his interest.

extremely odiferous. The cats had hormone-pee'd it to pieces and it just REEKED. We put it outside at the far end of the backyard, thinking we could leave it out there til Trash Day. But Bear had other ideas. He chomped onto it and ran around with it, shaking it and waving it around, all over the yard, for about an hour! We were in stitches, laughing so hard. We laughed so hard it hurt. We laughed so hard we could hardly breathe! We couldn't even chase after him to try to grab it away and dispose of it once and for all. And we were laughing so hard that running around simply wasn't an option anyway!

We finally had to leave Bear out there with the object of his affection for the rest of the day - til he finally decided he was finished with it.

Crazy dog...

can't see the TV from out in the yard. Nothing says fun like a dip in the pool while watching a movie.

Things sounded "swimmingly" in the backyard until all was quiet. Soooooooo....I took a look...

And there was my Scottie standing stock still in the middle of the pool with ICE CUBES HANGING FROM HER COAT...particularly her butt since she appeared to have sat on the cubes.

Boy, was she pissed! I laughed my butt off...and picked her up and plucked the offending cubes from her bottom.
