Mind you the 3rd one sucked and the 2nd one was ok but I loved the first one!

Seriously, these 3D / Live Action melds they have been doing from Alvin and the Chipmunks, Smurfs and Garfield are atrocious.

I have never seen the new Smurfs.
However, I've always been curious how for the majority of the cartoon, there was only one female.

Was she an anomaly from an asexually reproducing race, or is she like the lone queen bee, that all the males wanted to uhhh...

Smurfette was created by magic by Gargamel to infiltrate the Smurfs.

His magic made her kind of ugly though.

Papa Smurf changed her into her current form.

Don't even ask about baby Smurf or whatever...

I got the biggest laugh from the reaction to this video, when it was shown in theaters.
It was supposed to be anti-war, but American audiences laughed and cheered since the Smurfs got blown up!
